Jamie first took an interest in yoga for the physical benefit as he began pursuing a healthier lifestyle 10+ years ago. He slowly began to see the long term benefit of mindfulness and his family noticed the changes as well.
His practice continued to evolve into a more serious nature in 2019-20, after the loss of his mom and Covid inspired him to focus on his mat. This led to his decision to become a certified instructor in 2021.
Jamie’s favorite aspect of being a yoga instructor is the connection built with his clients, who he considers his “yogi family”. He enjoys helping others learn to use their practice to focus on themselves and controllables. His practice reminds him daily to chase passion over perfection.
